Marketing School - daily insights into marketing and business, with cohost Neil Patel, and Leveling Up - weekly interviews with business leaders and creators.

 

Marketing School does particularly well in a podcast format, currently ranking in the top 5 Marketing podcasts with 600,000+ downloads a month. Leveling Up has recently been picking up traction on YouTube, garnering 5M views last month.

It's our mission to level up every human by educating and moving the digital industry forward. Our goal is to help you level up and succeed. We accomplish this through mentoring or training but also by providing great resources and tools.

Who You Are:

We’re looking for a humble, hungry, and smart candidate to join our team. This role will provide content media management to both the Leveling Up and Marketing School podcast and YouTube channels while supporting our Brand team.

You are someone who: 

  • Has a proven track record of meticulously managing multiple projects at once, ensuring that deliverables are completed promptly and meet quality standards.
  • Is highly organized and capable of managing two podcasts across all social channels.
  • Maintains a sharp eye for detail, consistently reviewing your own creative outputs to ensure they align with expectations and meet the highest quality standards.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in social media platforms, with the ability to schedule and post content effectively, drive engagement, and measure performance.
  • Collaborates seamlessly with content editors, facilitating open communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Understands the importance of measuring the performance of social media channels and leverages metrics to refine strategies and achieve optimal results.
  • Is improvement-obsessed and brings new ideas to improve KPIs and the overall channels. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the scheduling and posting of social media content, ensuring consistency in messaging, brand representation, and adherence to post schedules. Content includes: daily content to Leveling Up and Marketing School podcasts, YouTube channels, and social channels (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram). Post 3-4x daily to Eric’s personal Instagram. 
  • Insert advertising spots into podcast episodes where necessary. 
  • Collaborate closely with editors to facilitate seamless content execution and maintain open lines of communication.
  • Regularly monitor the performance of social channels, utilizing metrics and analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Share regular reports with the team, highlighting the performance of your KPIs and making data-driven recommendations for future improvements.
  • Write titles for all podcast and YouTube episodes (with AI assistance).
  • Write social captions for all Instagram posts (with AI assistance).

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in project management or social media management. 
  • Understanding of social media channels.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Leadership skills and ability to guide cross-functional teams.
