A bit about us:
We’re an easy-going, creative family of three. We are both avid readers and horror film buffs. We have two small dogs, Clarice and Gizmo. I work a hybrid schedule where I work from home two days a week (in meetings all day), and my husband works outside the home. I love to garden and decorate for the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas.

Our 6-month-old baby boy is a happy and curious baby. The one challenge is getting him to eat enough. He has acid reflux and gets fussy around bottle feedings. He loves it when we are goofy. He’s a fan of singing, improvisational songs, grabbing and scooting. He likes to explore and discover new things in the world every day!

A bit about you:
You are organized and meticulous. Patience is one of your best qualities. You have cared for an infant with acid reflux before and know all about tracking/recording feedings. You are engaging and love interacting with infants; you enjoy baby activities that are fun while fostering learning. You quite possibly have some excellent silly faces and karaoke skills reserved for your BBFs (Best Baby Friends).

Job Duties:
All child-related care such as bottle feeding, recording/tracking feeding times, diaper changes (gentle diapering needed for baby’s sensitive skin), bottle feeding, preparing bottles, clearing baby’s nasal passage 1-3 times a day (due to his acid reflux), burping, following wake windows for naps, age-appropriate play and learning, reading, stroller walks, ensuring safety, eventually helping with the transition to solids, feeding baby purees, household tasks include baby-related cleaning, bottles and breast pump parts, baby dishes, baby laundry, light tidying and some management of the dogs (like moving them when leaving the house for stroller walks).

Qualifications: 2 years of childcare experience with infants and toddlers, previous experience feeding an infant with acid reflux, infant and child CPR certification, ability to track/record feedings, reliable vehicle, valid Driver’s License, some flexibility to start 30 min. earlier/end 30 min. later, willing to take a driving screen and drug screen if requested, good communication skills, okay with small dogs, and basic swim ability.

Set yourself apart: You are bilingual (Spanish/English) and would happily incorporate Spanish into the baby’s learning, have a college degree, and/or love to sing/make up songs.

Schedule: Monday-Friday (9a-4p)
Starts early January 2025

Pay: $30-$35 an hour
