Product Owner (Fraud)

RecargaPay is the Super App that simplifies everyday payments for consumers and SMEs in Brazil.

The platform streamlines payments for over 7 million Brazilians by consolidating credit and debit cards, instant payments like Pix, and Open Finance, on a mission to democratize mobile payments and financial services in Brazil.

Featuring services such as bill payments, mobile top-ups, public transportation, installment plans, and loans, designed with convenience, low cost and flexibility in mind. RecargaPay is changing the way both banked and unbanked Brazilians make their everyday payments and access their financial services.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Fraud squad, defining priorities and directing activities to mitigate risks. Develop and implement fraud prevention and detection strategies.
• Monitor and analyze fraud indicators, creating actionable reports and insights. Manage chargeback processes, aiming to minimize losses and optimize value recovery.
• Collaborate with other departments (Technology, Operations, Customer Service) to develop integrated fraud prevention solutions. Conduct data analysis using SQL Server to identify suspicious patterns and opportunities for improvement.
• Propose and oversee continuous improvement initiatives in fraud prevention processes. Stay updated on trends and new technologies related to fraud prevention.

Requirements

• Experience as a Product, with a focus on fraud prevention and combat.
• Solid experience with chargeback processes and value recovery.
• Proficiency in data analysis and experience with SQL Server.
• Knowledge of anti-fraud techniques and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
