Payment Services & Accounts Receivable Analyst

The role:

The Payment Services and Accounts Receivable Analyst performs the Cash Application responsibilities and deductions management for assigned A/R accounts, processes manual credit card/payment services, reconciles payment batches daily and investigates discrepancies in payment batches when necessary.

What you will do:

• Credit card settlement and reconciliation, including manual credit card processing.
• Gather and record all credit card and payment service settlements from each entity on a daily basis to confirm all payments are received and settled against the appropriate receivables in SAP.
• Investigate discrepancies and process any manual settlements as necessary.
• Daily cash application of lockbox, COD, payment services, wire and remote deposits.    
• Process incoming customer deductions and enter related credit/debit memos to clear valid deductions or set repays for invalid deductions.
• Prepare various reports for use in customer collections, tracking COD/CC orders, application of credits, expired credit cards, customer changes/additions, etc.
• Participate in cross-functional teams and projects to represent A/R and payment services as assigned. Provide back up coverage for A/R team and Payment Services team as needed.

What you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or relevant experience in A/R, Credit card processing.
• Minimum of 2 years experience of Accounts Receivable and Credit Card & Payment Service experience
• General accounting concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem solving Skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills. 
• Knowledge of SAP – Finance related transactions
