<p>Senior Events Assistant</p><p>Kings Cross St Pancras</p><p>We are looking to recruit an energetic Senior Events Assistant for our beautiful meeting and events space at Derbyshire House, in Kings Cross St Pancras.</p><p>Derbyshire house is very well known in the industry to be one the most versatile location for all types of events, corporate and private alike. The venue is made of modern meeting rooms and a rooftop terrace, hosting a wide range of events; from large corporate meetings to the wedding reception and much more.</p><p> Although this is predominantly a Monday to Friday role, the candidate needs to be however flexible and happy to work during the weekend, whenever required.</p><p>The Senior Events Assistant will be able to deliver exceptional customer service and will be experienced in running corporate functions.</p><p>The ideal Coordinator will:</p><p> · Ensure that the meeting spaces are set in accordance with the information supplied on function sheets.</p><p> · Maintain a clear channel of communication with Kitchen and all other departments liaising and coordinating the functions alongside the Sales and Events Manager.</p><p> · Set/reset the meeting rooms when required. Ensure that they are left in a presentable condition at all times.</p><p> · Provide the highest level of service to our guests.</p><p> · Connect and build rapport with guests at every possible opportunity. Going the extra mile for return clients.</p><p> · Ensure cleanliness is up to standards at all times.</p><p> · Open and close meeting spaces as per procedures when needed.</p><p> · Ensure the highest level of food safety by following the health and safety procedures in place.</p><p> · Make sure food is transported in a safe manner, avoiding cross-contamination.</p><p> · To contribute to the team with a positive and optimistic attitude and problem-solving mindset.</p><p> · Maintain appropriate standards of personal conduct, dress, hygiene, uniforms, appearance, and posture.</p><p> To be considered the candidate must:</p><p> · Be able to work under pressure with others calmly, courteously, and methodically.</p><p> · Have an excellent command of English, both verbally and written.</p><p> · Experienced in Laying up.</p><p> · Be super well organised and very efficient.</p><p> · Be experienced in a similar position.</p><p> · Be passionate about the events industry.</p><p>We are looking for an individual willing to invest in a long-term commitment and keen to grow and learn.
