As Sales Compliance Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring all sales deals and sales licenses are compliant with state, local and Havenpark guidelines. Time allocation mentioned below may vary depending on the team needs. Annual or semi-annual travel may be required for this role.
Responsibilities
- Sales Compliance
- Ensure all local, state, and Havenpark sales deals, sales paperwork, and sales license requirements are properly documented
- Ensure all sales deals (Cash and Financed) are processed according to all local, state, and Havenpark guidelines
- Collaborate with RVPs and new hires to ensure that all SLAs and CMs are properly licensed within 30 days of the hire date
- Collaborate with RVPs to ensure SLAs and CMs are all properly licensed upon renewals
- Collaborate with RVPs to ensure SLAs and CMs are all properly licensed when coverage is needed between communities
- Sales Training & Process
- Identify and provide solutions to policy and process adjustments for the sales and loan process
- Collaborate with the Business Operations Team and Field Teams on sales training, job aids, and process adjustments
- Sales Processing
- Assist the Sales Processing and Compliance Manager in being an expert and field liaison on lending guidelines of preferred lenders to assist community staff and applicants with questions and training
- Ensure CRM is up to date and deals are being processed timely
- Review loan documentation to ensure accuracy of documentation and compliance with federal, state, and Havenpark’s policies and regulations
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience: 1-3 years of relevant work experience in Loan Processing, Underwriting, Mortgage Processing, or similar field
- Physical Demands: You can spend long hours sitting while using office equipment, such as computers.
- Skills: You are a team player with excellent verbal and written skills. You are self-motivated, organized, and a problem solver.
- Additional Requirements: You can pass a criminal background check.
