Job title: Java Support Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA (Remote)

4+ years of experience
Programming experience in Java and SQL. Scala is a plus.
A general understanding of big data distributed computing framework, e.g., Hadoop, Spark.
Knowledge of Presto or Trino is a plus
A general understanding of cloud, e.g., cloud storage (Google Cloud Storage or Amazon S3), cloud computation (Amazon EMR, Redshift, or Google Big Query)
The capability of supporting customers, including helping Presto users, troubleshoot query failures, finding the root cause
The capability of supporting Presto cluster operations, including parameter tuning, building page duties and alerts to monitor cluster health, and backport open-source patches into Twitter internal branches
Drive the migration of Presto to Big Query in 2022, including working closely with the Twitter teams for Big Query & Presto, implementing plans, helping users, and building tools to achieve it
