Medical Technologist

• Performs qualitative and quantitative analysis of clinical specimens including blood, urine, body fluids, CSF, stool and others.
• Performs testing on proficiency samples, quality control, standards, and calibrators.
• Able to perform manual methods, including kits and able to run all lab instrumentation.
• Troubleshoots problems and performs maintenance on instruments and takes corrective actions when necessary.
• Reports tests results to patient unit and clinicians.

• 1 year experience in a clinical laboratory as a generalist preferred.
• BS graduate from an accredited Medical Technology program (preferred).
• ASCP (preferred)
• New York State required (pending license proof of eligibility required)
• Possess basic computer skills, flexible in work schedule hours
