Expectations for this role: - Good understand of MSSQL architecture and internals
- Strong with basics
- Expert in performance tuning and query optimization have good experience working on large databases (5TB 20 TB)
- Good experience in HA/DR solutions like Always ON, Replication and clustering
- Good knowledge and experience in TSQL scripting
- Automation experience with PowerShell / TSQL / Python....
- SQL Server development background will be an added advantage
Minimum 12+ years Experience - At least 5+ years of SQL DBA experience covering implementation, production support and project work. At least 4+ years of exposure as L3/SME support role.
- Knowledge and Understanding of ITIL process
- In client facing role(s) for at least 3 years.
- On call support for at least 3 years.
Excellent Documentations skills in MS SharePoint 2010 /2013, Confluence. |

The candidate must be willing to provide On-call and weekend support for SQL and MYSQL, the support is rotated among DBA's in US and India
- Enable and support the team in resolving day-to-day production issues, application upgrades and patches, performance analysis, disaster recovery implementation, capacity planning and other activities as may be necessary.
- Work on Change implementations during UK, US business hours & weekends as per change management process
- Documentation & Operational performance reporting
- Own Service Improvements
- Execute on demand IT projects
- Drive compliance to client and organization processes and policies
- Ensure Quality of deliverables
