About the Role:
The Senior Product Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of education by developing a state-of-the-art educational platform that leverages the power of Altium 365 and Altium Designer. This platform will revolutionize the learning experience for students pursuing careers in the electronics industry. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of product development, from concept to launch, ensuring the platform meets the highest standards of quality, usability, and functionality.
A Day in The Life of Our Senior Product Manager - Education Platform:
Platform Development:
- Lead the development and integration of Altium 365 and Altium Designer capabilities into the OpenEDX , Teachable, Canvas, Blackboard and other LMS platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, curriculum development) to build a comprehensive and user-friendly educational experience.
- Define and prioritize product features based on user needs, market trends, and strategic goals.
- Develop a detailed product roadmap and manage the product lifecycle from conception to deployment.
Student Engagement & Course Completion:
- Design and implement strategies to increase student engagement and retention.
- Monitor course completion rates and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop personalized learning paths and provide targeted support to students.
- Gather and analyze user feedback to continuously enhance the learning experience.
University Integration:
- Leverage partnerships with major universities to integrate their content and LMS systems into the platform.
- Collaborate with academic institutions to develop industry-relevant courses and certifications.
- Ensure seamless integration and compatibility with existing university infrastructure.
Identity Management & Certification:
- Implement robust identity management solutions to verify student identities and track progress, especially in emerging markets
- Develop and manage certification programs that validate student competencies and prepare them for industry careers.
- Ensure the platform adheres to industry standards and best practices for data security and privacy.
Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:
- Experience in building and managing educational programs at scale.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and other educational technologies.
- Understanding of the education sector, particularly in electronics and engineering education.
- Ability to develop and execute a product strategy aligned with company goals.
- Closely watch competition: products and value proposition
- Define high-level requirements for product capabilities
- Collaborate with product owners and engineering teams on roadmap delivery
- Excellent communication skills. This role will require effective collaboration and cross-functional coordination across internal and external contributors
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines

The salary range for this role is $169,000 - $205,000. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
