We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Branch Manager for the service and repair center based in our Charlotte, NC location.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, you will manage a team of 10-15 associates while leading the operations through the following responsibilities:
Essential Functions
- Manage daily production and support operations.
- Open and close branch facility.
- Assign jobs to technicians.
- Answer status request from customer service/customers/ and the sales team.
- Monitor the technicians’ hours to meet the current workload.
- Verify all associates are on time and performing duties during hours of operations.
- Manage and train all support employees.
- Enforce policies and procedures
- Perform yearly performance reviews with all direct reports.
- Manage project objectives and collaborate with all levels of associates including executives.
- Responsible for all Paragon properties including vehicles, buildings, test equipment and tools.
- Present at branch location during scheduled working hours, on weekends on an as needed basis and after hours for expedited jobs.
- Verify all shipments are correctly packaged and shipped to the correct customer.
- Verify all jobs are received and signed into the system the same day
- Substantiate that all warranties are determined quickly and correctly by the technicians and customer service.
- Monitor reorder reports to make sure stock levels are maintained.
- Respond timely to all accounting request regarding any open or un-received parts and/or documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement through training and associate development.
- Ensures safety rules and safe work practices are followed throughout department.
Experience, Education and Skills
- 5 years of similar branch management / supervisory experience within Industrial Repair or Manufacturing
- HS Diploma or GED, Associates or better in related discipline is preferred
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills-ability to speak clearly, confidently, and professionally on the telephone and the ability to write clearly and succinctly through email communication.
- Basic understanding of fundamental accounting principles and negotiating skills.
- Ability to assist and be on the shop floor throughout the day which may include standing, walking, lifting
