The CAI Japan team is looking for aproject interpreter (Chinese and Japanese) with experience in technical interpretation in the pharmaceutical/medical device/biotechnology industry

Required Experiences and requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
· Communication Support:
1. Assist in translating and interpreting project /team communications between Japanese and Chinese (Mandarin) as needed, ensure clear and effective communication between the project members and Client.
2. Coordinate communication channels to address inquiries, requests, and follow-ups.
3. Assist in translating and interpreting project /internal documents between Japanese and Chinese (Mandarin), includes but not limited project technical documents, meeting minutes, project relevant reports, ect.
4. Prepare and review project correspondence, reports, and documents in both Japanese and Chinese (Mandarin).
5. Facilitate meetings and calls, including coordinating schedules, setting up virtual /onsite meetings, and providing interpretation services.
· Translation and Interpretation:
1. Provide accurate translation and interpretation services for project meetings, documents, and communications between Japanese and Chinese (Mandarin).
2. Facilitate and support virtual and in-person meetings by providing real-time interpretation services.
Such other duties as may be directed or established by the Project Manager or Regional Manager from time to time.
Required Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree;
2. Ability to work independently,
3. High attention to detail,
4. Microsoft Word and Excel skills,
5. Business level Chinese and Native-level Japanese (JLPT N1 is appreciated), intermediate English is a plus,
6. Ability to travel as needed,
5 years+ of experience in technical interpretation, Pharma experience is a plus
Salary and Benefits:
Salary will be determined in accordance with the Company's regulations after due consideration of experience, ability, and other factors.
