<p>At OCU Opals, we have a new opportunity for an Inventory & Stock Controller to join our Team in our team.</p><p>The Inventory and Stock Controller is responsible for managing, monitoring, and controlling all inventory levels and stock movements within the company. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials, parts, and equipment required for telecom engineering projects, including fibre build and civil engineering. The Inventory and Stock Controller will work closely with procurement, project managers, warehouse staff, and suppliers to maintain accurate records and optimise stock levels, minimising waste and reducing project delays.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>- Maintain accurate records of all stock and inventory levels, ensuring systems are updated and discrepancies are promptly addressed.</p><p>- Oversee daily stock movements, both incoming and outgoing, to ensure adequate levels are maintained for ongoing and upcoming projects.</p><p>- Collaborate with project and procurement teams to forecast material needs, plan restocking schedules, and reduce excess or outdated inventory.</p><p>- Place orders for materials, equipment, and consumables based on established stock levels and projected needs, in line with budgetary guidelines.</p><p>- Oversee the receipt of all goods and materials, ensuring quality standards are met and quantities are accurately recorded.
