Technical Director - Integral UK Cooling Technologies Division
Introduction: As the Technical Director of the Cooling Technologies Division at Integral UK, you will play a critical role in leading and directing the technical functions of the division. Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide strategic and technical leadership to the division, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of technical professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and training as needed.
- Drive technical excellence by staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Project Delivery:
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of cooling solutions for our clients, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
- Monitor project performance, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Innovation and Technology:
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in cooling technologies and identify opportunities for innovation within the division.
- Drive research and development initiatives to enhance the division's technical capabilities and expand service offerings.
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations on their suitability and potential integration.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Act as a technical advisor to key clients, understanding their cooling needs and providing strategic guidance and solutions.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, attending meetings, managing expectations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the business development team to identify new opportunities and contribute to proposal development.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance:

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Advanced Qualifications in Engineering or a related field (Preferred)
- Extensive experience in the cooling technologies industry, with a focus on large-scale commercial and industrial projects.
- Solid understanding of HVAC, refrigeration systems, cooling towers, and associated equipment.
- Proven track record in successfully leading technical teams and delivering complex projects.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to cooling technologies.
