JOB OVERVIEW
As an IT Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals and businesses develop, utilize, and integrate IT systems. By resolving technical problems and providing comprehensive user training, you will enable our clients to maximize the value of technology in their business operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management
- Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Azure DevOps
- Utilize Azure DevOps for project planning, tracking, and collaboration.
- Ensure best practices are followed in version control, build automation, and release management.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with developers, testers, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
Adaptability
- Quickly learn and implement new technologies as required by the project.
- Be prepared to wear multiple hats and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Participate in testing activities, particularly happy-path testing, to ensure software meets quality standards.
Communication
- Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and management.
- Prepare and deliver project documentation, including status reports, project plans, and post-project evaluations.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and presentations.
Client Consultation
- Engage with clients to understand their IT needs and challenges.
- Conduct thorough assessments and analysis of client environments.
- Provide expert advice and recommend appropriate solutions to address client issues.
Solution Development
- Design and develop customised IT solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Create detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and milestones.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
Implementation and Delivery
- Oversee the implementation of IT solutions, ensuring successful deployment and integration.
- Collaborate with client teams to ensure smooth adoption and transition
- Provide comprehensive documentation and training to clients on the implemented solutions.
Client Support
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented solutions as required.
- Address client inquiries and technical issues promptly and effectively.
- Foster strong client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in IT Consulting / Project Management capacity
- High proficiency in or knowledge of document automation
- High proficiency in Agile Scrum or Methodology Framework
- Strong background in utilizing Microsoft 365 environment.
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics is an added advantage.
- Organization and time management skills
- Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills
- Excellent oral communication skills
