Job Title: Enhanced Building Maintenance Team – Floor Repair Technician

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Floor Repair Technician to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to repair or replace any flooring that requires service. There are many different flooring materials being used throughout the CPTC and include but may not be limited to carpet, granite, porcelain and quartz tile. Any wall mounted tile, or wainscot are included in the scope.
Scheduled hours will be centered around 3rd shift primarily with a need to adjust depending on requirements or needs.
Responsibilities:
· Adhere to all safety policies and procedures without exception.
· Repair and replace a variety of floor and wall surfaces utilizing industry standards and best practices.
· Maintain work complete and service records for all areas.
· Coordinate and prioritize workload with your supervisor.
· Operation of forklift machinery.
· Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· High school diploma or GED preferred.
· Must be able to read and write English proficiently.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in a commercial interior construction or remodeling environment specializing in the installation of flooring systems and associated components.
· Experience in failure analysis and repair of electromechanical machines.
Working Conditions:
· Must have a valid GA driver’s license and driving record void of recent major moving violations.
· Must successfully pass a background check for insurance and security processes.
· Ability to lift to 75 pounds and handle a variety of tools, equipment, and supplies.
· The majority of the workday is spent standing.
· Some outdoor work can be required in all weather conditions.
· Hazardous materials handling.
· Early morning, and occasionally weekend, or holiday work as required.
· Steel-toed shoes must be worn on duty.

· Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers, tenants, contractors, and AATC Staff.
· Must be a team player and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
