Bid Proposal Manager

Survey Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bid Proposal Manager to join our Sales team.

As the Bid Proposal Manager at Survey Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in securing new business opportunities by crafting, managing, and submitting compelling proposals and tenders for large-scale projects. This position requires a strategic thinker capable of overseeing multiple proposal processes simultaneously. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with tender specifications and deliver winning submissions. Additionally, your role will involve analysing unsuccessful bids to enhance our future strategies.

This position is hybrid or remote working, and we are seeking candidates to work close to any of our UK offices.

Responsibilities:

As a Bid Proposal Manager you will:

• Execute end-to-end proposal processes, from opportunity identification to submission.
• Develop and refine proposal strategies in collaboration with the CRO, Business Development, and Marketing teams.
• Produce clear, compelling proposal documents tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with internal experts to incorporate technical knowledge into proposals.
• Maintain and update CRM systems with relevant information.
• Conduct market analysis to monitor competitors and identify trends.
• Analyse proposal outcomes and lead 'Lessons Learned' sessions for continuous improvement.
• Manage Survey Solutions' presence on bid portals and tender platforms.

Requirements

• Proven experience in proposal and tender management, ideally in civil engineering or construction.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strategic thinking, analytical and client-focused approach.
• Familiarity with tender submission processes and legal/regulatory guidelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and proposal software.
• Highly organized, methodical, and quality-focused.
• Exceptional time management and prioritization skills are essential.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence.
• A relevant degree is preferred.
