We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Treasury Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support the treasury operations and play a key role in managing cash flow, banking relationships, and financial risk. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their career in corporate treasury while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. In this role, you will report to the Treasury Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable, across all Kpler entities.
Key responsibilities:
The Treasury function encompasses several critical areas, outlined below. Each area contributes to the efficient and seamless management of the company’s financial operations.
• Cash Management; Monitor daily cash flow and ensure optimal liquidity levels.
• Cash Management; Assist in developing and maintaining accurate cash forecasts, proactively identifying potential cash shortages or surpluses.
• Cash Management; Execute payments, fund transfers, and other treasury transactions in strict compliance with company policies, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
• Banking Relationships; Support the onboarding, maintenance and off-boarding of bank accounts
• Banking Relationships; Assist in managing relationships with banking partners, ensuring smooth communication and operations.
• Reconciliation and Reporting; Perform daily bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare regular treasury reports, including cash position, bank balances, and payment statuses.
• Risk Management; Assist in monitoring foreign exchange exposures and executing FX transactions as required.
• Risk Management; Support compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to treasury activities.
• Process Improvement and Automation; Contribute to the development and implementation of automated treasury processes.
• Process Improvement and Automation; Assist in identifying opportunities for efficiency and process optimization.
• Process Improvement and Automation; Assist in the documentation of treasury processes
• Collaboration; Work closely with accounting, finance, and other teams to ensure alignment in cash management and reporting.
• Collaboration; Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
You could be a good fit if :
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in treasury.
• Part qualified CTP, or similar treasury certifications preferred.
• Fluent in English with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP (Netsuite) and treasury management systems is a plus.
• Experience with reconciliation tools and cash forecasting software is a plus.
• Knowledge of international banking practices & processes and foreign exchange and understanding of cash management principles.
