Eden is developing Electrical Reservoir Stimulation (ERS), a novel rock fracturing technique for enhancing reservoir permeability and resource recovery. ERS is a safer, more effective, and more efficient method of recovering Earth’s natural resources helping us achieve a carbon-free future. Our technology will enable more efficient resource recovery in the geothermal, critical mineral mining, stimulated geologic hydrogen and oil & gas industries.

We are looking for a sharp, motivated and creative geophysicist with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our team and assist in applying our ERS technology in the renewable energy sector, by designing geophysical data surveys for international and domestic projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

●      Designing, bidding, and implementation of geophysical data acquisition campaigns, focused on Electromagnetic, electrical resistive tomography, microseismic, controlled source electromagnetic, and magnetotellurics

●      Primary role in the planning, execution and interpretation of geophysical data acquisition

●      Oversee processing workflows in collaboration with external contractors

●      Uses best practices and knowledge of internal/external business issues to improve products or services

●      Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

●      Direct vendor engagement and support, lead data acquisition from design to data quality control

●      Organize and maintaining internal databases of existing and new datasets

●      Assist with the evaluation and interpretation of geological exploration data

Requirements

●      PhD. in geophysics/geology or related field and at least 3 years experience in similar field

●      Strong foundational knowledge of geophysics

●      Demonstrable experience with microseismic, electromagnetic, electrical resistive tomography, controlled source electromagnetic, magnetotellurics and other relevant imaging methods

●      Demonstrable experience with design and planning of geophysical surveys, geophysical data acquisition, and 2D forward modeling

●      Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, geophysicists, and other professionals to apply geological insights

●      Knowledge of geological data analysis software, as well as data visualization tools is preferred.

●      Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

●      Proficiency in MS office suite required
