Position Overview:
The Clinical Esthetician is responsible for evaluating clients' skin types, determining appropriate procedures to enhance and improve facial skin, and executing treatment plans to achieve desired outcomes. This role requires effective communication with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with the services provided.
Essential Functions:
To perform this role effectively, an individual must be able to carry out each essential function satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Conduct aesthetic treatments, including facials, peels, microdermabrasion, and advanced medical aesthetics.
- Educate clients on various options for skin improvement.
- Follow up with clients regarding treatments, promotional offers, new services, events, and other offerings from the practice.
- Maintain and update client treatment records, contact details, and follow-up information in the patient management system.
- Track, maintain, and order supplies as needed.
- Perform clinical procedures such as PDT Blue Light therapy, Excimer Laser treatments, NBUVB Phototherapy, CoolSculpting, and peels.
- Handle clerical duties, including initiating prior authorizations, notifying clients of treatment approvals and financial responsibilities, and scheduling appointments.
- Ensure regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
The following requirements are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for this position:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Experience in a dermatology or spa environment.
- Certifications & Licenses: Aesthetician license.
- Technology Applications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Pay and Hours:
$28-$30/hr. Monday, Wednesday, Friday will be in the Milpitas office, Thursday will be in the Fremont office.
