POSITION SUMMARY
Tracks and maintains all company and customer furnished inventory. Supervises day to day operations and employee management. Manages key support activities including but not limited to receiving, shipping, delivering of parts, and all tool room activities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- KPI Development Internal Controls related to warehousing and tooling
- Rotable visibilities related to core return processing
- Visibility for one time delivery of parts to our operational team and performance metrics for stock outs
- Management of shipping and receiving KPI’s
- Managment of tools being issued and returned
- Management of parts delivery KPI’s
- Management of cycle counting KPI’s
- Personnel Management and Development
- Manage and document employees training, performance, and coaching opportunities
- Workload monitoring and visibility
- Output monitoring for customer satisfaction (internal or external)
- Development of personnel including personal development plans
- Communicate company policies and procedures to employees
- Responsible to manage all employee schedules and different shift rotations to support operational coverage.
- Lean Methodology and Continues Improvement
- Ability to schedule and develop strategies for improvement within all aspects of warehousing and tooling
- Create and manage roadmap for excellence strategies and goals
- Outside of the box thinking for system development and implementation plans
- Develop and Control standard work and training plans
- Inventory Management and Optimization
- Quarantine and bad from stock monitoring
- Inventory accuracy and cycle counting
- Maintain and process on-site customer inventory
- Shelf life and ESD Management
- Ensuring a high level of customer service is being delivered to our customers (internal and external)
- Coordination of customer meetings
- Control of CFP parts being provided and coordination with customers to meet all needs
- Relationship building and development of customer reports and monitoring
- Clear and Professional Communication
- Warehouse / Stores / Tooling Management
- Ensure parts are being received and issued with quality and efficiency
- Ensure proper handling of dangerous goods while shipping and receiving (CFR 49 & IATA)
- Ensure tooling is issued and returned in serviceable condition
- Ensure preventative maintenance inspections are assigned and complied with on all tooling
- Ensure damaged tools are repaired or replaced
- Manage tool leasing process with customers and operations
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education:
High School Diploma. Prefer BA or BS in Business Administration or Logistics/Supply Chain.
Experience:
- Minimum one-year experience preferably in Aerospace / Manufacturing environment.
- Experience in operational, technical and administrative management activities and or processes related to aircraft parts.
