Requirements
The Purpose:
Ensure that AP+ products and services are working as per requirements and specifications through various testing activities before each release/deployment. Provide technical expertise and support to AP+ members and their service providers in testing and certifying AP+ product services and solutions.
Primary Accountabilities, Duties and Responsibilities:
- Engage with Participant Member representatives, provide support for their testing requirements for new Member onboarding and Release certification, and guide them in achieving the requisite level of quality; primarily for the New Payments Platform (NPP) brand.
- Support strategic initiatives for improving Member certification, vendor quality and supporting tools that includes an automated testing suite and a performance test solution used by Members.
- Create Testing Documentation for Release certification and support the approval process with the Testing Sub-working Group.
- Support the quality assurance of the vendor deliverables, particularly testing related deliverables.
- Update, maintain, and distribute certification and testing documentation and minimize production issues by ensuring adequate test coverage on testing.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of software requirements and technical specifications to identify potential areas for automation.
- Generate comprehensive test reports and documentation to communicate test results, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies by actively participating in retrospectives and process improvement initiatives.
We'd love to hear from you if have:
- Demonstrated strong testing experience (preferably with NPP real-time payments).
- Strong testing experience with many of the following: functional testing, non-functional testing, resilience testing, vendor management, vendor quality assurance, and automated testing.
- General understanding of BPAY payments or eftpos/card payments at a systems or operational level would be an advantage.
- Strong communication skills including preparing content for a broad range of stakeholders and audiences.
- Proficient in all aspects of test planning, test execution, defect analysis, and test reporting.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in one of the scripting and programming languages such as Python, Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript is desirable.
- Experience with automation testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Playwright, Cypress, or similar is desirable.
