About This Position
A Technical Engagement Coordinator is responsible for managing the technical aspects of Conversant Group’s secure technology implementations. This includes coordinating with technical teams, monitoring engagement progress, ensuring the engagement is delivered on time and within budget, and managing any technical issues that arise. The Technical Engagement Coordinator works closely with the Implementation Engagement Managers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of client engagements. They may also be involved in identifying and implementing new technology processes to improve engagement outcomes. Ultimately, the goal of a Technical Engagement Coordinator is to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality technical engagements that meet the needs of our clients and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Engagement/Project Planning and Scheduling
- Assisting in the creation of project plans, establishing milestones, and developing project schedules to ensure project objectives are met within the specified timeframe
- Resource Management
- Assigning tasks to team members, coordinating, and allocating resources
- Ensuring project teams have the resources they need to be successful
- Risk Management
- Identifying, evaluating, and mitigating engagement risks
- Taking steps to minimize the impact of risks on timelines and budgets
- Communication Management
- Facilitating regular communication between engagement stakeholders, and ensuring everyone is kept informed of progress and any issues that may arise
- Status Reporting
- Preparing regular engagement status reports and providing updates on progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders
- Budget Management
- Developing engagement budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring resources are used effectively and efficiently
- Quality Management
- Ensuring engagement deliverables meet quality standards
- Implementing quality control processes to minimize defects and ensure successful outcomes
- Stakeholder Management
- Building and maintaining relationships with engagement stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met, and addressing any issues that may arise
- Documentation Management
- Developing and maintaining engagement documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports, to ensure that information is accurate and up to date
- Problem Solving
- Identifying and resolving engagement issues and conflicts
- Making decisions to keep efforts on track and within budget, and to ensure successful completion of projects

Qualifications
- Associate degree in a relevant field required
- 2+ years of experience in technical project management, including managing technical teams and delivering projects on time and within budget
- Knowledge of project management methodologies desired
- Such as Agile or Waterfall
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with ConnectWise PSA desired
