Energy Recovery, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate for an immediate Full Time job opening for the position of Maintenance Technician, with the manufacturing team in the San Leandro, CA facility. This position is responsible for repairing, maintaining and establishing preventative maintenance program of machining centers and mechanical equipment.
What Will You Do?
- Troubleshoot and repair different types of machinery and work independently.
- Maintain CNC and manual machinery including drill presses, lathes, mills, compressors and other typical machine shop equipment.
- Utilize your knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems to properly troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Identify machine parts needed for maintenance or repair, and ability to communicate with machine manufacturers to order/request machine parts.
- Diagnose and install mechanical components including pumps, valves, regulators, filters, ball screws.
- Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
- Maintain production machinery in proper working condition.
- Responsible for maintaining and establish Robust Machine maintenance program of all mechanical equipment.
- All other projects and duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 2-5 years of experience maintaining and repairing manual and/or CNC machines (familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, Mitsubishi controls preferred).
- CNC / NC Machining experience helpful, but not required.
- Must be reliable, self-motivated and possess strong verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of and experience with various hand and power tools.
- Ability to do Multitasks.
- Read, write, Speak and interpret English language.
- Welding skills a plus.
