Opportunity Overview What you'll do:
Actively mentor and train other associates in their area of expertise;
Provide direction as to the effective use of technology within the enterprise architecture;
Provide leadership related to technical aspects of tools, methodologies, best practices and processes and standards that apply to their technical area of expertise.
Research technical improvements and takes the initiative to communicate/implement solutions.
Participates and represents area in cross-functional groups.
Communicates issues and problem resolutions with all affected stakeholders, business areas and vendors.
Researches requirements to determine system feasibility, costs, benefits, or functional requirements.
Ensure prudent use of the firm's financial resources.
Position Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or Engineering preferred or related work experience.
8+ years of experience directly related to technical area of expertise.
Deep java (platform 4), React, Linux, technical design work; Kafka and Security
Considered a subject matter expert in a Technology discipline (business solutions, systems development, infrastructure area, planning, security) and have experience across multiple platforms in an area or multiple technologies in a layer (network, computing, operating systems, data, application infrastructure, appliances, business solutions, security, systems management);
Proficient in multiple programing languages, with focus on Java development and scripting.
Strong understanding of Kubernetes infrastructure.
Knowledge of software security scanning tools such as SAST, DAST, SCA, container security, penetration testing, etc.
Knowledge of current security threats and vulnerabilities as outlined by OWASP, SANS, etc.
Previous experience with Cloud architecture, with a preference given to Microsoft Azure.
Understanding of Product Teams and Agile methodology and practices
