Role: BCM Development - Resident Engineer

Job Description:

• Provide to the Customer information about all the system functions and about the release timing of the software versions and about project deadlines
• Analysis of requirements and specifications with the customer
• Ensure the correct configuration of the test cars and test benches, with all the different ECUs up to date with the approved Customer SW/HW
• Support the Customer on integration tests of the different control units and support the Customer in the result analysis and in the defect tracking
• Perform joint tests with the Customer to evaluate the development status of the system
• Ensure a first level analysis for all defects/parts coming from internal (Product Validation, Plant services) and external customers
• Analyze defects seen on customer R&D sites
• Be the R&D referent for residents in Customer plants, and ensure the proper spread of information
• Support customer production sites during product launch phases
• Product Development Standard Processes (PDH,P2)
• Project Planning, Monitoring & Control
• Ability to organize himself and other people working activity
• Automotive technical, environmental and homologation standards
• Analytic tools and methodologies (e.g. FMEA, FTA), SW development toolchain knowledge
• Product Validation Processes, Requirements management tools knowledge
