Good understanding of distributed computing principles and hands on experience in Big Data Analytics & development (preferably on Cloudera)
Experience in designing and developing applications in Spark using Scala that works with different file formats
like Text, Sequence, Xml, parquet and Avro
Strong SQL programming skills required for data ingestion, data analysis, data profiling & query optimization
on popular databases (Preferably Impala, Spark)
Empirical understanding of BI analytics ecosystem (BI architecture, Reporting sematic model, data blending,
data warehousing, ETL, etc.)
Knowledge on Kafka data streaming along with reading/writing to Topics is a plus
Programming & data analysis using Python is big plus
Experience with performance bench-marking and optimization.
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

Skillsets/Roles Generic Requirement
- Extensive development delivery experience, with 4+ years of delivery within Agile SDLC/teams ideally with CDCI.
- Experience with continuous integration (CDCI), as well as test driven development (TDD), behaviour driven development (BDD)
- Agile development approach.

Additional Technologies :
o Testing: Junit, Mockito, Protractor, JBehave or similar;
o Build/CICD: Maven, Sonar, Git/stash, TeaClientity/Jenkins, Docker.
- Banking/Finance know how preferable
