Who you are:

Semios is looking for a Director of Channel Sales, North America to develop and execute a national sales strategy and  drive sales through strategic partnerships and alliances. In this pivotal role, the Director will lead sales initiatives, manage channel integrator partner opportunities, cultivate and expand alliance partnerships, and identify and develop strategic revenue opportunities to maximize market penetration.

Reporting directly to the VP of Sales and working closely with the Director of B2F, the Director of Channel Sales, North America will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Semios' market presence and success.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate and plan with the Director of B2F.
  • Drive new channel partnerships and nurture strategic relationships.  
  • Research and define what channel and strategic partners are a fit for the company.
  • Produce and deliver proposals and negotiate service agreements to close sales within a short span of time.  
  • Meet annual sales targets for new business.  
  • Manage sales pipeline across the board from development of sales prospects to facilitating the closure of deals for new business.  
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and prospects with ease and address the prospective client’s needs in an efficient manner. 
  • Work with the sales team to identify and pursue upselling opportunities leveraging channel partner capabilities to penetrate further into existing customer organizations. 
  • Travel within North America for approximately 30%.

Requirements

We want you to succeed, so you will need:

  • Proven track record of building and managing strategic partnerships that drive profitable revenue growth
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and measure success
  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to work in a high pressure, deadline driven environment
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in business development, partnership management, or channel sales 
  • Ability to travel within North America with no restrictions

Nice to have:

  • Background in agriculture technology
  • Channel experience within the agriculture industry

Salary range: USD$135,000 to $175,000 per year

Please note that the base pay offered may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and experience, as well as geographic location.
