Responsibilities:
- Support the Risk Officer in establishing and maintaining the risk management framework including the design and implementation of key risk indicator matrices for regional operations.
- Develop and maintain the development of risk policies and procedures, and prepare risk training materials.
- Provide support to maintain effective risk governance across the firm such as consolidate regional incidents and perform regular trend analysis, assist in the ongoing oversight of outsourcing risks by consolidating regional outsourcing registers.
- Conduct operational risk-related thematic reviews and projects as needed.
- Support product risk assessments by collaborating with risk owners to conduct risk and control assessments on exposure across different financial products.
- Validate controls identified through product risk assessments and ensure timely implementation of remedial actions.
- Conduct local vendor due diligence risk assessments and assist in enhancing third-party due diligence and assessment processes in accordance with industry regulatory changes.
- Perform ongoing monitoring and oversight of operational incidents in line with the Operational Risk Policy and Procedures. Track and develop KPI and KRIs on an ongoing basis.
- Develop and maintain a risk dashboard to track remediation action status, ensuring timely implementation of mitigation and preventive measures to resolve issues and minimize associated risks.
- Support the conduct of business impact assessments across different products.
- Enhance the business continuity plan as necessary, in accordance with industry regulatory changes.
- Perform ad-hoc projects and tasks as requested by the team.
- Familiarity with CSSF risk and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Risk Management, or other related disciplines is preferred.
- 3-5 years of working experience in financial services, operational risk, audit, advisory services, or product management.
- Experience with database management systems. Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance tools is an advantage.
- Strong execution and project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive initiatives concurrently.
- Ability to deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Good attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-disciplined, able to work under pressure, and meet deadlines and a fast paced environment
- Fluency in English is essential, French would be beneficial.
- Luxembourg based.
