What You'll Do
- Provides Level 2/3 production support for eCommerce applications, identifying and resolving incidents promptly.
- Analysing root causes of production issues, performing code fixes, and deploying changes following best practices.
- Collaborates with development and operations teams to maintain application stability and performance.
- Monitor application logs, metrics, and alerts to identify potential issues proactively.
- Document support activities, including troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and recommendations for future improvements.
- Participate in on-call support rotation to respond to critical incidents outside of normal business hours.
What You Know
- Proficiency in debugging, troubleshooting, and fixing Java-based applications.
- Familiarity with web technologies, databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL), and application servers.
- Experience with monitoring tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Splunk, Jira, ServiceNow).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications or related field.
