Duties and Responsibilities: • Ability to develop ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using combination Python, Matillion and Snowflake’s SnowSQL • Ability to understand data pipelines and modern ways of automating data pipeline using AWS technologies such as Lamdba. • Ability to integrate on premise infrastructure with public cloud (AWS, AZURE) infrastructure • To work as part of a team to develop ETL and ELT code in Matillion for real-time data and batch. • Participate in the development of cloud data warehouses and business intelligence solutions • Experience with coding in visualization platforms such as Tableau or Cognos. • Communicate team and project status to project manager and director. • Prepare discovery documentation, functional and technical design specifications • Develop and test application software that is efficient and meets functional specifications • Program debugging and problem troubleshooting • Provide implementation and post implementation production support, including after hours • Provide effective technical leadership and expertise • Interact with vendors for co-development of solutions. • Proactive in communication and escalation of concerns • Maintain compliance with relevant departmental SOPs and provide updates as needed
Qualifications: Education Preferred: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent required. Work Experience: • 3-5+ years’ experience developing ETL, ELT and Data Warehousing solutions • At least 6 months to 1 Year experience with Snowflake cloud-based data warehouse • 6 months to 1 Year experience with Snowflake SnowSQL and writing use defined functions • Hands-on experience with at least one Snowflake implementation • 3-5 years’ experience developing SQL scripts and stored procedures that processes data from databases • 3-5 years’ experience AWS cloud • 1+ years’ experience with coding in visualization platforms such as Tableau or Cognos.
