We provide a shift in traditional instruction and learning.</p><p dir="ltr"><br> <strong><br></strong></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Your mission🎯</strong></p><p dir="ltr">The creation of the Innovamat's US product, our biggest growth opportunity and Innovamat's Top1 priority.</p><p dir="ltr">You will be the <strong>sole owner of the linguistic adaptation of our product for the US market.</strong><br></p><p dir="ltr"><strong><br></strong></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Your day to day at Innovamat 🏁</strong></p><ul><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">You will revise translations of our external team and translate (MTPE) content from Spanish to English (mainly for the US), working closely with our product squads, their didactic specialists and other content creators. </p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">You will continuously keep our glossary, translation memory and style guide up-to-date and make suggestions for improvement, based on new findings.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">You will work on Marketing translations that involve transcreation to achieve a 100% market fit and create engaging messages.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">You will assure the Innovamat DNA in all of our translations - working on teacher/student content, videos for the classroom and training for teachers, student app and marketing materials.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">You will perform QA tests of new applets.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">You will give feedback to externals on the quality of their translations and be their point of contact while setting up opportunities for improvement that focus on root cause analyses to prevent issues from happening again.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">You will help our EN strategy and didactic team to understand specific challenges of the content adaptation for the US region.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Over time, you will become an expert in translations for educational math content with the help of our Expert Training Path.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Most importantly: You will be the key owner and take the choices that are needed to adapt our product 100% to the English US market (for teachers, students and parents), consulting with our didactic expert(s) or professional editor and other internal specialists that help you achieve this objective.</p></li></ul><p dir="ltr"><br></p><p dir="ltr"> </p><p dir="ltr"><strong>What are we looking for? 🔍</strong></p><ul><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr"><strong>US English - native.</strong></p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr"><strong></strong><strong>Degree in linguistics, translation or related studies.</strong></p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr"><strong>>4 years of experience</strong> as a freelance translator, in a translation agency, or having worked in an internal translation department, <strong>translating from Spanish to English US</strong>. </p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Lots of experience working with CAT-Tools (Trados, Phrase/Memsource, Wordfast, Memoq etc.).</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">High proactivity in flagging potential risks and offering solutions to overcome them.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">High level of Spanish.
