Title: Process Expert - Procurement
Department: Admin and Facilities
Reporting To: Sr. Manager - Procurement
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Major Accountabilities (duties may include but are not limited to)
Ensure compliance with relevant local laws, regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities. Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in procurement regulations. Collect, analyze, and report procurement data, including supplier performance, cost savings, and key performance indicators. Generate reports and present findings to management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans accordingly. Coordinate with enabling functions for understanding the procurement / Services requirements Working directly with the vendors to identify best service provider at competitive price |
Initiating Vendor contract agreement / renewal / termination communications |
Expedite Orders and track on deliveries. Ensure audit readiness of all purchasing documents. Vendor Identification Floating enquires to different vendors and making comparative statements. Negotiating with suppliers for quality, cost and deliveries and preparation of cost Comparison statements. Processing purchase requisition, day to day co-ordination with all the functions as needed Identification of all requirements in purchase requisition issued by Information Technology department. Understanding the technical needs of the procurement. Ensuring accurate materials received as per procurement and planning. Developing new vendors as per predefined procedures. Keep a track record of order placed and follow up for the material up to reach in time. Initiate cost savings/reductions by price negotiations & Value Engineering, Identifying and selecting the most cost effective vendor/suppliers base for cost effective procurement Preparing Analysis of Price Proposals Collaboration with other Team Members for Meeting the objectives/Targets of the department Preparation of MIS reports in line with the requirements of the dept. Adhere to the Procurement Policy and vendor onboarding process Enhance automation and governance in the procurement process in accordance to the firm’s strategy. Should have market research capabilities to achieve company goals |

Title of Next Level of Supervisor: SVP – Finance & Administration
PRIMARY CUSTOMERS OF THIS POSITION AND TYPE OF CONTACT
The primary customers for this position would be Facilities vendors, Employees, Administration team and the visitors. The type of contact would be primarily in person, through Voice and e-mail.
