NYC Alliance Company LLC is seeking a talented Designer specializing in Denim and Cut & Sew Knits to join our team for our FRYE brand. As a Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and trend-setting designs for our denim and cut & sew knit collections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Design Director and cross-functional teams to develop design concepts and product lines
- Research market trends and create mood boards to identify new and emerging trends
- Create detailed sketches, tech packs, and spec sheets for production
- Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure quality and timely delivery
- Participate in fittings and provide feedback on garment construction and fit
- Monitor and maintain the development calendar to meet key milestones and deadlines
- Ensure designs meet brand aesthetics, quality standards, and target pricing
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in denim and cut & sew knits design
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in denim and cut & sew knits design
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and manufacturing processes
- Strong trend research and market analysis skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
