Saviynt Exchange is a marketplace of apps and solutions designed to accelerate time to value and address the unique challenges our customers encounter when implementing an identity-based security perimeter. It enhances the capabilities of the Saviynt Enterprise Identity Cloud through integrations, solutions, and content provided by Saviynt, partners, and developer community. A key factor in the success of Saviynt Exchange is maintaining a thriving developer ecosystem, where developers continually build secure apps and integrations and publish them in the marketplace.
As the Developer Relations Engineer for the Saviynt Developer Ecosystem, you will act as the primary advocate for the Saviynt developer community, ensuring their needs are addressed and their feedback is considered throughout the product development process. You will collaborate with external developers to introduce new apps, integrations, and solutions on Saviynt Exchange, and support partners and community members by reviewing their work. Additionally, you will work closely with the Product team to enhance Saviynt's developer resources. As a champion of Saviynt's integration frameworks, connectors, and best practices, you will also create valuable content for developers, including sample code, tutorials, quick-start guides, and other resources.
Key Responsibilities of this role
- Develop and implement strategies to engage, support, and grow the developer ecosystem around Saviynt products.
- Nurture and grow a dynamic, supportive Saviynt developer community through active engagement.
- Design and implement world class Developer Portal that is actively used by Saviynt external developers and play the role as it’s product owner Identify and create developer resources to enable developers, partners and community members to build their apps and solutions.
- Engage with the developer community through channels such as social media, forums, events, webinars, and hackathons.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and documentation teams to relay developer feedback and insights, ensuring Saviynt products align with the needs of the developer community.
- Create sample applications, tutorials, blogs, and quick-start guides tailored for developers, Gather and define requirements for Saviynt integration frameworks, APIs, and tools based on input from the developer community.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing and User Community teams to organize developer-focused events, including online sessions, in-person meetups, and hackathons.
- Represent Saviynt at industry events, conferences, and meetups to build strong relationships with the developer community.
Qualifications
- Passionate about engaging with the developer community and highly skilled in creating effective strategies for developer community success. You have a strong technical background and a deep curiosity.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of relevant professional work experience as a senior software developer/engineer and at least 3 years as a developer evangelist or developers relations advocate.
- Excellent knowledge of developers tools, REST API, JSON, SDKs and other web & mobile standardsGood hands-on experience with Code Repository tools and Java debugging tools.
- Good programming experience with Java or other languagesExcellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with the external developer community and with other teams across the organization.
- Strong experience creating technical content, such as tutorials, blogs, documentation, and sample code.
- Experience engaging with developers on communities such as GitHub, Stackoverflow & Postman.
- Experience and understanding of the Identity Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance Administration (IGA) domain is a plus.
