Compliance Manager, Go.Compare

The Compliance Manager will work closely with and support the Head of Compliance. They will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the compliance function in order to manage and monitor regulatory compliance across the organisation.

What you'll be doing...

• Provision of effective and timely advice to the business on compliance and regulatory matters.
• Proactively establishes, reviews and maintains appropriate systems necessary for ensuring Group regulatory compliance.
• Ensures appropriate internal oversight is established in accordance with FCA guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
• Act as the liaison point with regulators during the absence of the Head of Compliance, ensuring the Senior Management are informed of any key action required
• Supports reporting and management information for the Executive Team, Audit & Risk Committee and senior managers.
• Provides support to DPO and legal team in monitoring compliance with GDPR-related privacy regulations and national data
• protection laws.
• Management of business compliance updates in accordance with changes in regulations.
• Manage authorisations with the FCA.
• Supports the Head of Compliance in managing awareness and understanding of regulatory requirements and the role and
• requirements of the compliance function.
• Delivers changes to risk or regulatory compliance framework in line with updates.
• Interprets complex regulatory requirements and implements practical, compliant solutions.
• Supports the Head of Compliance in the monitoring, measuring and reporting on compliance issues to ensure the delivery of fair
• outcomes for customers.
• Manage and develop direct reports.
• Oversight of Compliance team activities to deliver compliance plan and support to the business

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve...

• Significant experience of working in a compliance function at an FCA-regulated organisation whose authorisation includes general insurance provision or arranging
• Significant Experience of the practical implementation of regulatory requirements
• Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the FCA handbook, especially in the areas of complaints, financial promotions and conduct of business.
• Experience of managing complex compliance cases.
