This is a major transformation project, replacing legacy infrastructure with a modern, flexible architecture designed to handle secure messaging and settlement services across multiple industries.</p><p><strong>Your Responsibilities</strong></p><p>As a Solution Architect, you'll design and oversee the implementation of a new modular, service-oriented architecture. You'll create the roadmap for transitioning from physical HSMs to virtualised environments, implement API-first design principles, and ensure the platform maintains stringent security and compliance requirements. You'll develop the migration strategy using a 'strangler fig' approach while ensuring zero disruption to critical financial services.</p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>We're looking for passionate technologists who enjoy working in collaborative agile teams. You'll need:</p><ul><li>Proven experience architecting high-volume financial platforms</li><li>Deep understanding of secure messaging protocols and standards (ISO15022/ISO20022)</li><li>Experience designing systems requiring non-repudiation and regulatory compliance</li><li>Strong knowledge of cryptography, HSMs, and security architecture</li><li>Track record of successful legacy system modernisation</li><li>Experience with service-oriented architecture and API-first design</li><li>Understanding of cloud-native principles and virtualisation strategies</li><li>Ability to balance innovation with stability in mission-critical systems</li></ul><p><strong>About us</strong></p><p><strong><em>Distributed is proud to be an equal opportunities employer.
