Our mission is to prepare The Crown Estate for the future by empowering our people to create lasting and shared prosperity for the nation through emerging technologies, meaningful innovation, and strategic partnerships.</p><p>The portfolio of the Emerging Technology and Innovation team is growing, and we need a Senior Programme Manager to coordinate and form various workstreams. You’ll ensure good governance, processes, reporting, communication, and implementation of our business plan. The current portfolio includes an AI Strategy, an Innovation Lab, strategic partnerships, and various learning initiatives. With the rapidly evolving nature of technology, this portfolio is expected to grow quickly. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring these activities are seamlessly integrated and effectively communicated, driving our mission forward.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul> <li><strong>Programme Management:</strong> Drive impactful projects, by managing the programme and budget, identifying key workstreams within the Emerging Tech and Innovation team, and manage capabilities, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.</li> <li><strong>Financial Coordination:</strong> Work with finance business partners on forecasting, budgeting, and managing spend profiles across all SBUs and group sustainability budgets.</li> <li><strong>Operational Support:</strong> Provide targeted briefings and reporting on all areas of operations, including programmes, workstreams, and budgets.</li> <li><strong>Stakeholder Engagement:</strong> Build relationships with internal stakeholders to understand priorities and workstreams, acting as team operations control.</li> <li><strong>Resource Management:</strong> Ensure the team has the resources needed to deliver on enterprise priorities, including managing internal team meetings.</li> <li><strong>Dashboard Preparation:</strong> Prepare dashboards on team activities and progress for senior stakeholders, bringing insights on how to visually display activity for maximum understanding.</li> <li><strong>Meeting Management:</strong> Manage meeting cadence, follow up on actions, and prepare materials.</li></ul><p><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></p><ul> <li>Broad understanding of technology.</li> <li>Appropriate qualification in a related discipline or equivalent experience.</li> <li>Experience in PMO and business change, with an understanding of business models.</li> <li>Good commercial understanding and ability to manage budgets across multiple business lines and P&Ls.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li> <li>Capability to navigate complex stakeholders, build relationships, and solve problems collaboratively.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Capabilities:</strong></p><ul> <li><strong>Stakeholder Management:</strong> Build relationships and engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.</li> <li><strong>Risk & Issue Management:</strong> Minimise risks and manage key business issues.</li> <li><strong>Project and Programme Management:</strong> Maintain programmes using tools like Excel or MS Project, illustrating resources, RAID profiles, and progress.</li> <li><strong>Presentation Skills:</strong> Prepare visual presentation materials in line with business brand guidelines, reporting on progress metrics and risks.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p><p>At The Crown Estate, we value innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
