Assembling Support (m/f/d) Fulltime (40 hours per week)

OVERVIEW:

Working as Full-Time ASSEMBLING SUPPORT in our FMI Service Center, you will assist the team with the preparation, configuration and setup of our FAST (Fastenal Automated Supply Technology) Solutions devices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Setting up FAST Solutions Equipment
• Utilizing quality control checklists to ensure device(s) pass all tests prior to shipment
• Preparing devices for shipment to the customer
• Assisting with ordering, maintaining and picking inventory
• Cleaning or repairing devices prior to assembling them

• Communicating with the department manager and Fastenal branches
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment and Complying with safety regulations
• Assisting with various other projects, as needed

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

• 18 years of age or older
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Comprehensive computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Attention to detail and a sense of urgency
• Exhibit good problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
• Attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule (no shift work, but adapting to your personal schedule)

• Ability to lift, slide, and lower packages that typically weigh up to 25kg
