Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our global Data Science Team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our Audience Console product, ensuring data quality, and setting global standards for data processing and analytics. This position involves working closely with regional teams worldwide to select and preprocess data, model missing data, discover taxonomies, and fuse and scale datasets.

Responsibilities

  1. Data Analysis and Improvement:
    • Gain deep insights into datasets, identifying correlations, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Develop methods for data cleaning, transformation, and feature selection.
    • Model missing data to maintain dataset integrity.
  2. Global Data Standards:
    • Collaborate with regional teams to identify relevant data attributes and ensure compatibility with the Audience Console.
    • Ensure data processes are consistent and high-quality across different regions.
  3. Taxonomy and Attribute Selection:
    • Build and refine taxonomies to categorize and organize data effectively.
    • Utilize NLP and LLM models to discover and enhance taxonomies.
  4. Data Fusion and Scaling:
    • Combine various datasets using statistical matching techniques to provide comprehensive insights in the console.
    • Rebalance and scale datasets to achieve a more accurate representation of the population.
  5. Python Programming Practices:
    • Establish and promote best practices for Python programming.
    • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior data scientists.
  6. Adaptability and Innovation:
    • Thrive in a dynamic environment and be flexible in adapting to new challenges.
    • Innovate by setting up LLM agents to automate tasks and increase efficiency.
  7. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and product managers.
    • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders clearly and concisely.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in data science, including analysis, preprocessing, quality assurance, and data modeling.
  • Advanced knowledge of Python (e.g., NumPy, Pandas) with the ability to write efficient, clean, and commented code for model and package development, automation processes, and application development. Experience with Snowpark/PySpark is a plus.
  • Proven experience working with large datasets and developing scalable data solutions, including SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing environments and tools (experience with Snowflake is a plus).
  • Experience with NLP and LLMs is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Adaptability and willingness to embrace new technologies and challenges in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
