Software Engineer Testautomation

In your role as a Software Engineer you will be involved in two areas of activities. One of the main areas of activity is test automation. Here you will design test cases in close consultation with the business. Based on this, you will be able to use the standard tools (UFT, Selenium, Load runner) to automate the test execution. As a special challenge, you would be required to setup the testing in close alignment with our SaaS vendors (e,g, integration in Commerzbanks CI/CD pipeline).


You will be responsible for:👇

• Analysis, application design, implementation (using Java and SQL) and testing (unit & integration)
• Test preparation (environment, Test cases creation)
• Creation and management of technical documentation
• Conceptional tasks around technical solutions, data- and business-/process models
• You are one of the experts for all aspects of the application development (design, develop and maintain)
• Support the rollout preparation
  

Which technology & skills are important for us? 👌

• High knowledge of Testautomation tools (e.g. UFT, Selenium, Loadrunner)
• Good knowledge of Java, Oracle, JBoss, Tomcat
• Good knowledge or UC4 or other job scheduling systems
  
• Good knowledge or Linux/Solaris, JIRA, Confluence, JBoss, WebSphere Application Server, HPQC/HPALM/Octane
• English B2 level

Description of the cluster:

The cluster Global Financial Crime Prevention Platform provides a global and holistic IT platform for Transaction Monitoring, Customer Screening including the data provisioning platform. We are looking for software engineers with strong experience in supporting Compliance business processes, specifically for data provisioning on a modern Business Intelligence Platform (SAS ViYA).

The focus of your work is development, implementation, testing and maintenance of the Compliance IT solutions on the SAS ViYA Platform of Commerzbank, which is a central delivery platform for our subsequent key applications.
