Key Job Responsibilities:

 

· Ensure day-to-day onsite compliance with EHS regulations

· Provide environmental and safety onboarding and refresher training to new and existing employees

· Conduct compliance audits

· Conduct accident investigations and associated root-cause analysis investigations.

· Provide expert guidance on implementation of safe work procedures and completing/updating JSAs.

· Recommend and facilitate updates to site-specific EHS procedures

· Assist with driving a culture of safety at assigned location

· Perform preventative inspections on equipment such as AEDs, fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, etc.

· Conduct environmental inspections and sampling (stormwater, SPCC, hazardous waste)

· Serve as a SME on EHS related topics

· Participate on safety committee

· Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

 

· Minimum experience 2 years in a similar position, associate’s degree in EHS or combination of education and experience

· Knowledgeable in Safety (preferred manufacturing) regulations

· Fluent in English as well as native language (if different)

· Proficiency in Microsoft 365 

· Strong interpersonal skills, able to motivate and inspire others

· Ability to speak in front of large groups

· Self-motivated, driven, and positive attitude

· Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously 

 

 

 

 

Preferred qualifications:

 

· Spanish fluency

· Knowledge of environmental compliance regulations/requirements

· Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment

 

Physical Demands:

 

· Lifting requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs. to 37 inches high.

· Vertical Lift requirements:  Ability to lift up to 42 lbs. to 52 inches high.

· Carry requirements: Ability to carry up to 50 lbs. for a minimum of 50 feet.

· Dexterity requirements: Ability to assemble small pieces such as nuts, washers.

· Ability to sustain a crouched position and reach repeatedly across a barrier.

· Standing hours: Approx. 50%  

· Computer hours: Approx. 50%  

· Work environment is fast paced; noise and temperature levels can vary.  

 

Pre-Employment Requirements:

 

· Must pass a drug screen

· Must pass a background check

· We do require you to complete a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) to make sure you are physically capable of performing the work. This must be completed prior to starting.  

 

Safety:

 

· If your role requires the wearing of steel-toed boots, the company will reimburse employees $50 per pair every two years.

· Array operates under strict guidelines and safety standards.  Ear protection, hard hats, and standard non-prescription safety glasses are provided by the company.
