Are you passionate about STEAM and STEM education? The Georgetown Branch Library is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Maker Space Guide to join our vibrant team. In this exciting role, you will play a key part in designing and executing engaging workshops, events, and educational activities within our Maker Lab/Space, catering to a diverse community eager to explore technology and creativity. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to maintaining an orderly workspace while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all library users. Join us in empowering our community through innovation and learning!
This is a part-time 28-hour position that will include days, evenings, and weekends.
The position will remain open until filled.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; AND two (2) years of technology instruction experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid driver's license.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay is $19.34 per hour and up based on related and comparable work experience
