Whilst the role is primarily focused on revenue and costs, the role offers exposure to various finance functions including Credit Control.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities 🤘</strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for ensuring all revenue is accurately processed.</li><li>Full ownership of the Revenue and Billing Contract files, ensuring all contracts are accurately reflected.</li><li>Complete month end activities, including full reconciliation of all invoicing and commission payments, processing of month end and year end journals within the deadlines.</li><li>Ensuring all revenue is recognised in line with revenue recognition policy / standards.</li><li>Taking ownership of internal and external queries effectively and efficiently.</li><li>Continuing to seek improvements to processes and leverage technology for automation.</li><li>Providing weekly revenue updates to senior management team.</li><li>Supporting in the creation of monthly board packs.</li><li>Supporting with audit external audit queries.</li></ul><ul></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What are we looking for? </strong><strong>🔎</strong> <br></p><ul><li>Someone from a <strong>finance background</strong>, who has an understanding of <strong>revenue recognition/ accruals/ balance sheets etc</strong></li><li>Experience working in <strong>Corporate Finance</strong> teams</li><li>Knowledge of using <strong>accounting software, </strong>ideally NetSuite</li><li>Proficient in <strong>Excel </strong>(including lookups and pivot tables).</li> <li><strong>Attention to detail,</strong> with an ability to spot numerical errors</li><li>Professional with a <strong>positive outlook,</strong> "can do" attitude.</li><li><strong>An adaptable and flexible team worker</strong> willing to undertake a wide range of activities and responsibilities as required by the role.</li><li><strong>Excellent interpersonal skills </strong>with the ability to interact professionally with personnel at all levels of the organisation.</li></ul><p>Ideal experience:</p><ul><li>Understanding of insurance broking and how commission works</li></ul><p></p><p><strong></strong>Even if you don't meet all of the requirements for this role, we encourage you to apply!
