DevSecOps Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.

About the role:

As a DevSecOps Engineer, you are responsible for actively developing and implementing end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles, ensuring processes are both secure and efficient. Collaborate with clients, designing and implementing Kubernetes or Docker solutions. Take part in building CI/CD pipelines, ensuring a smooth software update process. Furthermore, actively participate in the application of GitOps principles for software delivery.

What we are looking for:

• Three-plus years of demonstrated DevOps expertise leveraging Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment technologies such as Gitlab (and Gitlab Runners), Jenkins, Concourse, CircleCI, etc.
• Experience developing production software leveraging modern languages (including: Java, Python, Go, NodeJS, etc.)
• Working experience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform
• Experience building services using Cloud Infrastructure Providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
• Demonstrated experience securing applications via CI/CD pipelines leveraging static code analysis, unit and integration testing, dependency analysis, etc.
• Experience developing containerized services deployed on orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Mesos, etc.
• Experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch etc.
• Bachelors in Computer Science / Engineering / Physics / Mathematics
• Able to obtain a Security+ within 90 days of employment with Raft

Highly preferred: 

• Experience with writing custom Helm Charts
• Basic experience with Big Data
• Multilingual programming abilities

Clearance Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

Work Type: 

• Hybrid - Boston, MA preferred (or Langley, VA, Tampa. FL, Colorado Springs, CO, San Antonio, TX, Arlington, VA)
• May require up to 10% travel

Salary Range:

• $90,000 - $170,000
• The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
