As a Senior Windows Quality Engineer at TruU, you are in trusted with ensuring we deliver the best product to market that is simple for our end-users to use. You will provide leadership to continually test and maintain the quality, functionality, and ease of use for our Windows Identity Endpoint platform. You will be responsible for testing our Windows product against heterogeneous server infrastructure, creating test plans, analyzing bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality. We are looking for a senior QA engineer who can provide leadership to enhance our testing methods to continually improve the quality of our Windows product. Our team is deeply technical, and values individuals who can contribute with hands-on technical expertise on the Windows platform.
Description of Duties:
- Develop comprehensive test plans, technical specifications, and work instructions to find any issues / defects with TruU Windows software before product release.
- Perform Windows native application testing in enterprise configurations of Hybrid AD and Azure-domain joined workstations.
- Evaluate authentication systems that leverage biometric authentication (fingerprint, facial recognition), PIN-based login, and credential provisioning, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Ensure product integrations and implementations work seamlessly for a variety of Cloud and OS based authentication protocols, including Kerberos, Primary Refresh Token (PRT), Certificate-based Authentication for hybrid environments, and OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect for Entra ID passwordless scenarios.
- Identify, analyze, and document bugs found during system/Integration/Regression testing, paying meticulous attention to detail.
- Develop new test plans, run tests, and document results, collaborating with software developers to patch any defects found.
- Configure, manage, add, delete, and change user/groups/computers in Okta, Google Cloud Directory (GCD), Azure AD, and Active Directory (AD).
- Participate in technical meetings with other engineering groups to implement and support team initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with experience in Windows native application testing, with a focus on authentication methods.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms and governance, including SSO, Zero Trust Architecture, identity federation, enterprise directory architecture and design, and resource provisioning (Okta, Azure AD).
- Experience in integrating with AD, Entra ID, Okta, or GCD source directories, including device registration and management.
- Good to have experience with Group Policy (GPO) configurations, MFA, and passwordless login setups in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Additionally, experience with Windows system administration and/or PowerShell is highly valued.
