Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a Financial Reporting Senior Officer for the Financial Reporting department in our Marousi premises.
As a Financial Reporting Senior Officer, the ideal candidate will support to the accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting for the organization by participating in the preparation of financial statements and management reporting, analyzing financial data, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and accounting principles, and supporting decision-making processes within the group.

What you will do:
- Participate in month end closing process by collecting data for group companies and preparing accurate and timely group and standalone management financial reports
- Participate in the preparation of annual group and standalone statutory reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and group accounting policies
- Work collaboratively with other finance teams on matters related to group operations and transactions, reporting data collection and any other issues that require cross functional cooperation and ensuring seamless financial reporting and alignment of financial data
- Prepare various ad – hoc analyses, schedules commentary, as required, in a timely and accurate manner
- Support the automation of currently manual reporting processes
- Support during the audit process via providing necessary documentation and liaising between the various finance departments and the auditors in order to address queries and facilitate the smooth completion of the audit
- Ensure being competent regarding all the recent developments in the financial reporting framework
- Contribute to the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies under IFRS, maintaining and strengthening internal controls
- Support in budget, forecasts, and business plan processes including providing commentary on respective variations and approvals
- Maintain the highest standards of business ethics
The ideal candidate should have:
- BSc Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or relevant field
- Professional certification ongoing (preferably ACCA/ACA) will be considered a plus
- Proven experience of at least 3-4 years in a similar role at a reporting department or at a Big Four firm
- Previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry would be considered an asset
Job-Specific Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements
- Competing technical IFRS knowledge
- Knowledge of SAP and reporting/consolidation tools is advantageous
- Advanced skills in MS suite and financial reporting software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Positive attitude embracing change and team working
