Systems Lead – Electrical Power System (EPS) Integration

Your role and your team:

We are looking to reinforce our Energy Design team with a systems engineering lead who will head up the integration team pulling together the electrical power system.

You will actively participate and manage a team who focus on developing our core energy products at the highest system level, managing change to existing product, and otherwise ensure that there is consistency between all our hardware, mechanical and software designs and ensuring that our products are proceeding through test and certification.

Your Day to Day:

Responsible for the specification, definition and integration of component parts of the EPS
Ensure that hardware, software and mechanical components have requirements appropriately decomposed
Guide and mentor development teams on technical issues
Support certification activities with designated certification specialists in the team
Collaborate with engineers of other disciplines to ensure an integrated electrical power system
Collaborate with other system leads in the energy team to bring the whole system together

Your Profile:

Degree in relevant engineering discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related field required
Minimum 8 years of aerospace experience, with good knowledge of the product development lifecycle
Knowledge of systems engineering development according to ARP4754A and ARP4761
Strong knowledge in aircraft electrical systems, avionics or other complex system areas
Experience with development and verification of aircraft systems, especially developing requirements, managing change and developing V&V and test plans
Systems verification, qualification to DO-160
Knowledge of industry standards including MIL-STD-704, DO-160, DO-254, DO-178, D0-297, AMC 20-1, AMC 20-3, MIL-STD-461 and 464
High level of self-reliance with the ability to work in a team, as well as autonomously is required
Target-oriented, driven work style with analytic problem-solving skills required
Ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment is required
Fluent English language skills are essential, fluent German or any other language would be beneficial
