Technical Program Manager - Manufacturing Software Tools
Location
This individual will need to be located in the US working PST remote however does not need to
sit in PST (west coast/Bay Area).
Roles and Responsibilities
TPM will need to have a Test Engineering background preferably in the Manufacturing Test
Environment (however not mandatory).
Stakeholders will be looking for the TPM to develop, group, govern, and maintain the Forums on
the topics of Test Plan Review, Test Engineering Processes and Strategies. Such sub topics are
as follows, however not inclusive of all possible topics :
Testing Governance
Test Strategies
Test Processes
Test Standards
Test Efficiencies
Additional Responsibilities
Work with core organizational teams to develop and execute initiatives for Google’s Test
Engineering Advanced Operations Engineering(AOE) team
Manage various assigned initiatives, engaging teams and engineers to deliver to
assigned tasks
Develop and prepare project documentation, process maps, presentations and tracking
reports to provide detailed status on each project
Use technical judgment to drive project completion, technical reviews and proposals
while
building consensus
Present your team's analyses and recommendations to internal stakeholders and
immediate management
Take accountability for driving the project deliverables on time and on budget
Minimum Qualifications
3 years of experience in Technical Project Management
Manufacturing and Development experience as applied to Server deployment
Previous experience working with Test Engineering, Hardware and/or Software
Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
Solid technical project management skills
Experience in managing Manufacturing Test Engineering projects
Experience working with contract Manufacturing
Experience working with Test Engineering
Experience working with Hardware and/or Software Engineering
Experience in lean concepts and practices •
