About this role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Consumer Growth BizOps Lead, reporting to the SVP. As a business partner to the SVP, Consumer Growth, you will play a pivotal role in establishing robust reporting and business diagnostic processes for key performance indicators. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that the Consumer Growth team operates with maximum efficiency and effectiveness, enabling the organization to respond swiftly to market changes and capitalize on opportunities The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong background in BizOps, analytics, strategy, and operations and experience having leading strategic initiatives from end-to-end.
What you'll be doing
- Establishing and leading weekly, monthly, and quarterly business performance reviews.
- Developing, producing, and distributing supporting documents and presentation materials throughout the organization.
- Leading and coordinating investigations into business performance to understand underlying factors and developing cross-functional plans for responding to controllable situations.
- Partnering with Consumer Growth leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to develop ad hoc plans for responding to adverse market conditions and marketplace opportunities.
- Collaborating with the SVP, Consumer Growth, analytics, and finance teams to perform weekly revenue top-down forecasts and developing increasingly sophisticated methods to deliver forecasting accuracy and actionable insights on business performance.
- Conducting in-depth analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and internal performance metrics to identify opportunities and risks.
- Providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on data-driven analysis.
- Driving process improvements and operational efficiency across the organization to maximize cross-functional impacts.
- Leading and/or supporting special projects as assigned by the SVP, Consumer Growth.
- Acting as a liaison between different departments to facilitate communication and streamline workflows.
About your Skills
- Analytical and Data Interpretation Skills: You possess a strong ability to analyze complex data sets and extract actionable insights. Proficiency in using analytical tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau, is essential. Experience in developing and interpreting key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics, along with the capability to conduct in-depth market trend and competitor analysis, is crucial for this role.
- Business and Revenue Management: Proven experience in business operations, strategic planning and executing business performance reviews is a must. The candidate should have expertise in revenue forecasting and financial modeling, as well as the ability to develop and implement cross-functional plans in response to business opportunities.
- Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for producing clear, compelling, and professional presentation materials. The candidate should have experience in presenting complex data and insights to senior leadership, along with strong interpersonal skills to effectively partner with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Project Management and Leadership: You have a proven track record of leading and coordinating business investigations and special projects. Strong organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks and priorities, while the ability to drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiency is key.
What you’ll have
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in marketing, analytics, strategy, or operations roles, with at least 3 years managing significant highly-visible projects.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful growth strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to think strategically, develop long-term plans, and identify new business opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce compelling presentation materials and present complex data to senior leadership.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities, with experience leading and coordinating business investigations and special projects.
- Strong experience in operational excellence and planning strategies.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and coordinate cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
- Proficiency in using analytical tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Analytics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a nice to have.
